Gwen is a versatile double bassist working professionally in a myriad of musical genres.  She completed her studies in 2016 with an MPerf from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the exceptional tutelage of Mr. Colin Paris.

Gwen works regularly in London as a session musician, and can be found performing locally and throughout the UK. Her work has seen her tour the UK and the world with artists including Sigur Rós, The Rock Orchestra, the London Contemporary Orchestra, 12 Ensemble, and more. She has performed with orchestral institutions including Chineke!, The Phoenix Symphony Orchestra in her home state of Arizona, and the National Symphony Orchestra in the UK.

Her work in the West End has seen her perform on shows including The Phantom of the Opera, The Band’s Visit, and the UK premiere of Stephen Schwartz Working!. Gwen is passionate about contemporary music, and was a founding member of Ensemble x.y which commissioned over 100 new works by composers from every corner of the globe. She performs regularly at the London Contemporary Music Festival, and with experimental ensembles including the Hyperion Ensemble, Plus-Minus Ensemble, and Shadwell Opera.
